@holiness8 Not sure if I clarified myself. A soul is not the spirit of YHVH (God). We all have a soul (which is liable to die) but not all have the spirit of the Lord within us. For example, the apostles had a soul PRIOR to receiving the Holy Spirit (Holy Ruach). They had been with Jesus Christ up until His death then on Pentecost, they received the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:1-4, additional example Acts 8:17) But nowhere does it say the soul is changed.

Possession of a person's soul is possible but not if they have the Holy Spirit (Holy ghost or Holy Ruach) in them. When you said how satan entered Judas' heart if was only possible AFTER Judas rejected Jesus Christ. Judas chose to betray Jesus Christ (Matthew 26:14-16)

I am one happy guy! I just got back from the VA. I had an audiology appointment to get some help with Tinnitus. They did a hearing test on me, and come back and said that i have slight hearing loss in both ears, but nothing bad enough to wear hearing aids. They want to just monitor the hearing loss and Tinnitus with annual hearing tests. The doc told me that he wants me to listen to white noise on YouTube or somewhere to mask the Tinnitus. He also said that with the hearing loss, it is not that I cannot hear, but that sometimes, I cannot comprehend, so he thinks that a nerve in the ears that deals with understanding/comprehension is damaged from loud noises from my Naval service. That explains why I am always saying, "Huh?", or "What did you say?" In the Navy, we used to say, "Repeat you last." or "Say again." Anyway, please pray that this Tinnitus and hearing loss does not get any worse. Thank you all so much.

OK so every one wants to be a preacher these days. I listened to Mike's "Sermon" today, (first one for me) and let me just caution everyone that while Mike can "preach" all he wants it obviously isn't from the actual manuscripts, or based on any learned study. Mike is talking about his opinion on what Revelation means, BUT, ONLY HIS OPINION, of which there are many. The best credible interpretation of Revelation as Scripture was from Pastor Arnold Murray who preaches the Gospels word for word from the original manuscripts. listened to AJ for awhile yesterday and he was preaching his heart out. The Bible talks about false preachers in the end times. Anyone can create a Church, and preach, but it had better be right. God has a special disdain for preachers who teach falsely. I'm just asking people to discern carefully who you listen to and believe. These so-called preachers today are not necessarily people "who know" the truth. Be careful, and discern wisely. I would believe anything Mike tells me about food, chemical, drugs etc. but the Word of God is not in his wheel house.
Apparently, few on this platform remember Alex Jones from the time of his employment at the network affiliate television station in Austin, Texas. His basic message was built upon the work of Mullins, Allen, Griffin, and some of the John Birch Society. What made Jones different was that he had a bullhorn and a camera---the others were mainly researchers and writers---not performers. Jones offered nothing new, but he could reach an audience that the rest of us could not.
His message today, and over the 15 years or so, has altered to not even being recognizable to that previously. For those of us who remember the early version of Alex Jones---he would rip the old obese bullshitting humpty dumpty version apart. There are so many examples---but young Jones would have been tearing "Space-X" and "Neuralink" to shreds---calling Musk out as evil incarnate. He would have called out "Vaccine Don" as guilty of mass murder, gross violations of the US Constitution, and for treasonous servitude to the Federal Reserve Bank. He would have called out Roger Stone as the slime of humanity. And warning those following the older version of himself to not be led astray.
But, he does not do anything like that anymore, does he? Instead he fear-mongers, sucks "globalist and celebrity ass", and worships the Federal Reserve Note like a god.

I went to Medjugorje (1) as a tourist… I was already planning on going to WYD, very much doubted the veracity of the apparitions spanning more than 20 years, and didn't feel particularly close to the Virgin Mary, so I went to Medjugorje in July 2005, at the insistence of a friend, but just as a tourist.
I was immediately seized by the intense and continuous prayer of this place. Two years ago, I realized that God is alive and loves me; but in Medjugorje I discovered just how much Mary, filled with the Holy Spirit, is the mediatrix of all graces. Her intercession touches the Lord, who grants our requests.
When I attended one of her apparitions, I felt wrapped and protected in the mantle of Mary who is my patron saint, and I no longer had any doubts about the daily coming to Earth of the Mother of God!
The five pebbles (rosary, bible, mass, confession, fasting) have given me very effective spiritual weapons and thanks to a great deal of surrender to the Lord, I now have the strength and joy to bear witness to my family, my friends and at WYD, to the joy of being a Christian!

America is the Kingdom spoken of in Daniel 2:44 that Yahweh would set up in the days of the kings.
America had its roots in Christianity. America was founded upon and dedicated to Jesus Christ and the furtherance of the Kingdom of God. Yes, America is HimmelReich=The Kingdom of Heaven.
Is America still a Christian nation today? We will find out.

Additionally, Jacob's trouble is against Israel and Judah (Jer. 30:7) but the confederacy that causes the trouble has Jacob's brother (Edom) among them. Read the book of Obadiah especially verse 10-14 where YHVH (God) condemns Edom for participating in the chaos.

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." Revelation 18:4
Before the destruction of Sodom, God sent a message to Lot, "Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed." The same voice of warning was heard by the disciples of Christ before the destruction of Jerusalem: "When ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains." Luke 21:20, 21. They must not tarry to secure anything from their possessions, but must make the most of the opportunity to escape.
There was a coming out, a decided separation from the wicked, and escape for life. So it was in the days of Noah; so with Lot; so with the disciples prior to the destruction of Jerusalem; and so it will be in the last days. Again the voice of God is heard in the message of warning, bidding His people separate themselves from the prevailing iniquity.

Many readers of Revelation assume that the verse is about America or the West, as far as Babylon goes. However, though I affirm that the USA is an example of a type of Babylon, it is not the Babylon of Revelation 18.
Use your knowledge in context. The House of Judah (the southern tribes that remained) was conquered by Nebuchadnezzar and taken captive. (Daniel 1: 1-2). The chosen people were PRISONERS at that time. Therefore, YHVH (God's) chosen people will be CAPTIVES at the time of this event. YHVH (God) chose to punish His people for their disobedience. Read Daniel 1:2 carefully. YHVH (God) GAVE them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar. They were NOT originally Babylonian citizens. They were, and will be, PRISONERS. There are so many biblical confirmations of this. How about Jeremiah 51:1-8 for example, especially verse 5. Israel and Judah are named APART from those of Babylon.
I asked the question of 'where' because those that claim to be believers must understand Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. In each of these end time gospels, Jesus addresses ONLY His apostles and tells them that they will be brought before counsels, courts and kings for a testimony. Some Christians will die while others survive and are around at the Lord's return.

We live in a world filled with darkness of all forms. On any given day we are inundated with temptation after temptation, lie after lie, darkness after darkness. But in the person of Jesus a powerful hope has entered into the story of humanity. Matthew 4:16 says, “The people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a light has dawned.” You and I now have the choice to fill our lives with the light of God. We’re delivered from a life marked by darkness and set free to fill ourselves with the things of God.
But still, there is a choice set before us. The light has come, but we have a real enemy trying to draw us back to the darkness at every turn. It’s for this reason Jesus said in Luke 11:34, “Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light, but when it is bad, your body is full of darkness.” You and I must choose to look to the light if we want to be spiritually healthy and full of light. We must look to the light if we want the abundant life God offers us throughout every season of this life.
