I am one happy Dad!! Ivan called us this morning. I am very disappointed that I was out running at that time, but he told his Mom, to tell me that he is doing his best and that he misses running with me. He has a cold from the change of weather, and it also gave him a nose bleed. He got 2 days light duty. He gave us his "ship" and "division" that he is assigned to. He said that he will be able to call again in 2 weeks. My goodness! It feels so good to hear from him.
(Gen 15:18) In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
On the bus coming home from Manila yesterday, there was a lady on there preaching. I don't know a lot of what she was saying cause she was preaching in Tagalog. I did hear her say to repent and be baptized, and then quoted Acts 2:38. Acts 2:38 has nothing to do with the gospel of the grace of God, that we preach in this dispensation. After her preaching, she went around and gave people, including me, an envelope to put a love gift in. I never give to these folks, but I should have put Bible tract in the envelope. Next time, if it happens again.

www.instagram.comI am one happy guy! I just got back from the VA. I had an audiology appointment to get some help with Tinnitus. They did a hearing test on me, and come back and said that i have slight hearing loss in both ears, but nothing bad enough to wear hearing aids. They want to just monitor the hearing loss and Tinnitus with annual hearing tests. The doc told me that he wants me to listen to white noise on YouTube or somewhere to mask the Tinnitus. He also said that with the hearing loss, it is not that I cannot hear, but that sometimes, I cannot comprehend, so he thinks that a nerve in the ears that deals with understanding/comprehension is damaged from loud noises from my Naval service. That explains why I am always saying, "Huh?", or "What did you say?" In the Navy, we used to say, "Repeat you last." or "Say again." Anyway, please pray that this Tinnitus and hearing loss does not get any worse. Thank you all so much.

Some say that being "born again" is only for the Israel, and not for the church, but man is made up of a trinity (body, soul, and spirit) just as God is a trinity (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit). With man, when he is born physically, he is born with a dead spirit, in the image of Adam (Genesis 5:1-3), so at the moment of salvation, when a person puts their faith and trust in Christ and his death, burial and resurrection, the Holy Spirit comes inside of them, performs a spiritual surgery, baptizes them into the body of Christ, and regenerates that dead spirit (quickens). That dead spirit is now alive (quick)(Ephes. 2:1). Now, that saved person is complete in Christ (Col. 2:10)
There is no condemnation of a child of God to go to hell, but there could be some legal condemnation is a child of God goes out and commits a crime, God forbid. Saved people can do the exact same things that an unsaved person can do. That is why we should walk after the Spirit and not the flesh.
I did a 3.19 mile race pace run this morning. when I was stretching before the run, my lower back was a little bit painful. I had no problem with the run though. I also have not worn knee braces nor patella straps this week, and my knees did not bother me. I am very happy. #rpreynoldsrunning #beahardcharger #runningagiftfromgod

Leadership in churches is ultimately responsible for encouraging the assembly to hold fast to the truth. What things should pastors tell you that most are not? Here are a few.
-Pastors do not have a special anointing.
-Pastors cannot forgive sins.
-Pastors do not have a special source of knowledge inaccessible to you.
-Pastors are not your mediators with God.
-Pastors do not have a special gift of spirituality or holiness. They struggle with sin like everyone else.
-Pastors copy from each other. There are books of sermons and illustrations that help with just such a thing.
-Blessing the pastor will not get you a blessing from God.
-You have all the spiritual blessings and riches from God that they do.
-Everyone in the church is called to ministry and are equal members of the Body.
-You are accountable to the Lord Jesus Christ, not him.
-Your salvation and your behavior are by grace, not by the law.
-Everything necessary to save you was already done by Christ when he died for your sins and resurrected to offer you his grace. There is nothing left for you or the pastor to do, but believe.
-God’s will for you is clearly revealed in scripture, but you may not like it.
