You know what he meant. He then spoke of being "godly patriots" & "awaiting the return of the Lord Jesus Christ". Is this characteristic of Jesus the Holy One of God who said, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God"? This is what I'm talking about: hypocrisy of the patriot movement!
