Lately, I've heard a lot of talk about Martial Law. So I want to remind everyone that the 5th Amendment to the US Constitution (Bill of Rights) specifically prohibits the application of Martial Law to the American people. Here is the 5th Amendment:
"Fifth Amendment
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."
Thus, the ONLY category of people to whom Martial Law can be applied are those official members of the military/ militia. Martial Law is for the military to govern its internal affairs and its interactions with foreign soldiers and for wars overseas. ALL OTHER people in the US are to be afforded the legal protections of the US Constitution at ALL TIMES, including war time. Thus any application of Martial Law to the American people, including lockdowns, mass arrests, mass executions etc. is a violation of the US Constitution that our military is sworn to uphold and defend! Using Martial Law against the American people is treason!
