10 AUG 2021- "The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) added seven new countries to the list of more than 70 countries at very high risk for COVID-19. Destinations that fall into the "very high" risk category have had more than 500 cases per 100,000 residents in the past 28 days, according to CDC parameters.

The recommendation is that countries that are at "Level 4: very high COVID-19" should be avoided. This Ecuador is listed as having "high" risk."-
