Went to Tractor Supply today, thought I would look for some boots. . .Uh, No. Slim pickin's. My husband just mentioned that we need to be looking at getting some new jeans. I told him about the lack of things in stock and said "I may be needing to get all those old jeans I've been collecting for patchwork quilts and patch our jeans".
He let out a groan of disbelief mixed with "you gotta be kidding".
I reminded him that our grandparents had to do it during the depression. . we can do it.
