Chrystia Freeland's grandfather worked for Volodymyr Kubijovich, who published a Ukrainian Nazi propaganda newspaper, during the war. Chrystia began work on a post war Ukrainian encyclopedia, at the age of 18, for the same Nazi collaborator.
