Can anyone offer advice, my son is in ER with a kidney complication.
Now they want to transfer him to another hospital for surgery.
First they want to test for covid. What happens? Should I refuse the test?
How do we protect ourselves from getting vaccines and ventilator?
@RedOak1 at out hospital, a person can refuse to be tested but they will make their live a misery, isolating him in a special ward probably or a special section of the hospital.
They will annoy the person to take the tests and the staff, has you know, some of them would like to refuse healthcare to the unvaccinated or even worse, send them back at home to die there.
Social pressure.
But where I live in Quebec Canada, a person can refuse to be tested.
@RedOak1 can you insist on the test that is not stuck way up into the nose? Most medical centers are requiring test before surgery which is stupid. I am sorry I don’t know more .. all I know is pray and advocate for your son and let them know you know what is going on and won’t be easy to push or fool.
@RedOak1 - under no circumstance should you let them shove that up his nose. If they insist on a test demand it be saliva. The swabs they test with are contaminated. I’m so sorry to hear he is going through this and I pray that he will heal quickly do he can get out of there.
