God gives people free will, but the adversary control those who are not saved.
Example of possesion in homosexuality:

Romans 1:26: "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:"

The expression "gave them up" connotes possesion, as though homosexuals have no choice.
