From 1935-1937 Ruth Monro Augur painted the murals in the Garfield Country Courthouse in Enid, Oklahoma.
This was a WPA art project that saw Ruth spend about 15 months of prep work to research her subjects before she began the murals in December of 1935.

In a small, narrow alley on the edge of town in Enid, Oklahoma, one of the most striking and colorful murals in the state is being painted by Tox Murillo. The theme is the 1980's and Tox hopes to have it completed before the weather turns cold. I'll keep you posted.

From Enid, Oklahoma, yhe old Equity grain elevators. At one time these elevators had the largest grain holding capacity in the world. The Equity elevators hold 34+ million bushels of grain. Still in operation.
