Tami was working as a nurse when she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 27. Tami lost her mother and sister to breast cancer even though it was not genetic. Turns out they grew up near a nuclear weapons facility called Rocky Flats in Colorado. This plant made plutonium triggers which is the heart of the atomic bomb.
